July 18th, 2007, Los Angeles, California – “Reconcile yourself to the greater universe that surrounds you and remember fully who you are…” These are the words that begin Commeminisse, a newly published work of inspiration and spiritual illumination from The Corpus Illuminata.
“Can you feel that?” says Mark Sampson, resident of Los Angeles and writer of Commeminisse. “Individual spiritual growth and universal awareness are progressing into a brilliant new age of exploration, discovery and experience. The growing quest for a spirit-conscience existence filled with divine revelation and joy is leading to a resurgence of interest and participation in religion and spirituality. Regardless of ideology, Commeminisse empowers this personal quest for spiritual growth and awareness through self-realization. The power of Commeminisse lies within its ability to transcend the mind and speak directly to the soul.”
When asked why he wrote Commeminisse, Mark says “It is the awakening of the individual spirit which allows the mind to truly comprehend and experience the message of love, forgiveness, understanding and salvation as spoken through the great teachers, profits and illuminated souls of our collective history. Every person, regardless of the physical and material characteristics that may seem to divide us on the surface, are united within the common brotherhood of humanity; intimately bonded with each other and the universe around us. Commeminisse was written with the singular desire to penetrate the rational barriers of our intellect that often limit our capacity to experience divinity and remind us that we are all luminous being of light and life eternal. Commeminisse was written to awaken the soul.”
When questioned about the comparison of Commeminisse to Desiderata, Mark replies “I am still completely captivated and inspired by the wisdom contained within the prose poem Desiderata and I am amazed at the number of people I speak with that have been similarly moved by this work. My only desire in drawing a comparison between Commeminisse and Desiderata is to bring attention to this new inspirational prose poem within the context of a similar work that is familiar to so many. I believe Commeminisse can pick up with the soul where Desiderata left off with the mind and the body and I hope that readers will be inspired by Commeminisse’
