FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) –
Watching TV in the bath tub, surfing the internet on the mobile, a games evening on the widescreen display of the PC - Experts´ predictions leave no doubt: People want easy access to entertainment, communication and information wherever they are. This trend calls for a highly flexible hard- and software.
Most websites are not optimized for this coming diversification in utilization. The German company SSW System Software GmbH has developed a browser- and operating system independent technology in order to dynamically adapt websites to any device able to process HTML. The software is called DOP3 = Dynamic Optimized Page – optimization of texts, grafics and photos. Viewing websites created with DOP3 has several advantages: The value of brand recognition is raised enormously - especially on small screens (Blackberry, PDA). The proportions of design, photos and fonts to each other remains stable, observing CI/CD rules. No additional plugins or special browsers are needed. Annoying scrolling in order to fully view pictures and half-empty internet pages are a thing of the past – thanks to DOP3. DOP3 comes onto the market as an easy-to-handle, browser-based content management system. Administration of a website in DOP3 does not require any programming know-how, experience in word processing is sufficient. Owners of websites and webdesign studios save time and money, because they only have to design and administer one version of the site. Apart from the websites DOP3 also offers an integrated system for building online shops. Shop and website can be maintained in several languages, localization of the back end (into English) will be finished soon. The CMS provides multiple designs; users may also upload their own template. „We are looking for business partners such as (web-)designers and internet service providers - also in foreign countries - who want to expand their range of products,“ says Holger Butzbach, managing director of the SSW GmbH. These companys and freelancers may provide their customers with an innovative and easy-to-handle CMS. Holger Butzbach on the future: „The next years again will bring huge changes in our habits. In the mobile world as well as in offices and private homes trends point at multifunctional devices. Webdesigners and programmers may loose track of the range of possible screen sizes and resolutions for the endusers of a website. A dynamically optimized view of a site is useful, not to say necessary.“
