Kathleen P. King, Ed.D. is president and founder of Transformation Education, LLC. She is also professor of education at Fordham University , co-producer of Podcast for Teachers (sm), and former director of a university R&D center. Dr. King has designed many multi-partner projects, innovative programs, distance learning, staff development and technology integration plans across grades and content levels including corporate organizations and educational settings. She is recognized for her ability to combine lifelong learning perspectives with technology, online learning, staff development, transformative learning and new media production for mainstream and educational innovation.
Since 2005, Dr. King has launched numerous podcast series which have served over 3.2 million listeners. She has secured over $17 million in external funding for organizations and has authored 10 books on education related topics including podcasting, distance learning, transformative learning and program planning. She is a popular international keynote speaker and has received numerous awards for her writing, leadership and research from UCEA, POD, NYACCE and ACHE.
Mark Gura, education and curriculum specialist, is a former director of the Office of Instructional Technology of the NYC Board of Education. While contributing to the leadership and creativity of Transformation Education, LLC, Mark is co-creator and co-host, with Dr. Kathy King, of the highly successful series Podcast for Teachers.
Mark Gura is an accomplished author having published numerous articles, and coauthored several books on instructional technology, literacy and project based learning. He has won many awards and fellowships and frequently speaks about instructional technology nationally and internationally.
