Lawrence, KS, July 11, 2007 - Christina Glauner, of Lawrence, KS, is raising funds for breast cancer research by competing in the longest non-stop kayak river race. Her employer, Absorbent, Ink.(http://www.absorbentprinting.com)
, is sponsoring her.
Glauner will compete in the 2nd Annual Missouri River 340 as a soloist on July 24-28, 2007. Last year she placed second in the race. Inspired by her grandmother’
s battle with breast cancer, she is raising money for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Greater Kansas City.
