FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) – Dublin, Ireland, July 9, 2007 – MobileAware, the world’s leading provider of Mobile Service Infrastructure, will outline strategies for gaming and betting organizations to capitalize on the new era of mobile gambling, at the Gaming Executive Summit in Madrid, Spain on July 10-12. Victor Brophy, Sales Director, EMEA, will outline the critical success factors to deliver revenue-generating mobile services to thousands of mobile devices, including phones, PDAs and digital TV. Throughout his address, Brophy will share expertise gained from some of MobileAware’s deployments with leading European betting companies and lottery organizations, including a recent deployment with William Hill, one the UK’s largest betting companies and Lottomatica, the operator of Italy’s national lottery.

Mobile gambling is rapidly growing in popularity as more and more mobile users are turning to their mobile devices to play their favorite casino games or keep in touch with bet results while on the move. Analyst firm, Juniper Research, predicts that the global market for all forms of mobile gambling (casinos, lotteries and sports betting) will grow from $1.35 billion in 2006 to $16.6 billion by 2011. Europe is currently the largest market for mobile gambling, with an estimated $665 million in bets placed in 2006. Sports betting is estimated to be the largest sector in mobile gambling; however the lottery sector is forecast to take the top spot by 2010 as lotteries and related games, such as bingo, exploit the mass market mobile channel.

“The growing popularity of mobile gambling services, along with the widespread adoption of feature-rich mobile devices that present these services in an attractive manner, means that there has never been a better time to extend gambling applications to mobile users,” commented Victor Brophy, Sales Director, EMEA, at MobileAware. “MobileAware’s award-winning technology and industry expertise has helped some of Europe’s leading betting companies to drive uptake of their online gambling services by making them more accessible and convenient to mobile users. Europe offers huge growth potential and we look forward to advising gambling and lottery companies on the strategies and software infrastructure to put in place for future success.”

MobileAware specializes in delivering mobile solutions that extend online gambling services to a wide variety of mobile devices. MobileAware has enabled William Hill, one of the world’s leading betting companies to transform its existing mobile portal to offer a range of feature-rich mobile gambling services to over 400,000 registered account holders. Lottomatica, the exclusive license holder and operator of Italy’s national lottery, has also selected MobileAware to enable customers to check lottery numbers from any mobile device.
