They even work on some Linux programs. All of these capabilities depend on your system. The cost of both of these devices vary greatly depending on the manufacturer and the size of storage you get.

Basically, the main advantages of these drives is that they hold more data and they're easier to carry around. They're more practical than a floppy disk, a CD or an external hard drive.
