Shell lubricants companies have today (4th July 2007) received a highly coveted ‘Supplier Award’ from the Bosch Group for sustained outstanding work in the supply of products and services.
Shell’s expertise and commitment to research and development were fundamental in securing the Award from the Bosch Group. Bosch also cited Shell’s ability to provide lubricants of a consistently high quality on a global scale as a key reason for the accolade.
David Pirret, Executive Vice President of Shell Lubricants, comments: “We are honoured that the Bosch Group, an organisation that shares our commitment to excellence and innovation, has recognised the importance of Shell Lubricants work, products and expertise in delivering value to their business.”

This is now the eleventh time Bosch, a leading supplier of technology and services, has conferred its supplier award since 1987. The award is open to suppliers the world over, and is presented every two years. For 2005 and 2006, the award was given in five categories to a total of 47 companies from 14 countries.

The Shell / Bosch Relationship
Shell began working with Bosch Group in Europe in 1999, progressing to global supply in 2002 thanks to recognition of its excellent supply chain network and research and development capabilities. Shell is now a major supplier of oils and greases to Bosch on a global basis; supplying lubricants, including metalworking oils, calibration fluids and speciality greases to over 30 countries.

Bosch
