July 2007- Miami, Fl – The Trendy new Miami furniture and design showroom, Bonet Trends, lended their support to Amigos for Kids at this year’s affair. Miami’s elite gathered for an evening of live-music, dancing, dominoes, and charity at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Amigos for Kids and ING united various companies throughout South Florida for a very worthy cause.
Award winning design team Bonet & Associates, who recently launched their first showroom in downtown Miami Bonet Trends, graciously donated one of their most beautiful and unique pieces - the OVO Wind Chair to the featured silent auction. Conrad Bonet, of Bonet Trends was extremely excited to be part of this momentous occasion and explained his desire to partake in the auction, “I believe very strongly in Amigos for Kids and the cause that they support. We at Bonet Trends were so pleased to be able to help them and help the children here in South Florida. We know that the OVO chair will make a new owner very happy and knowing that it helped out a child just makes it even better.”
Amigos for Kids recently hosted their highly anticipated ING Miami Celebrity Domino Night featuring food from the area’s top chefs and restaurants and a full-fledged domino tournament with the winner receiving $5,000.00 to donate to Amigos for Kids. Bonet Trends and other attendees participated in a silent auction in which all proceeds were put forth toward the foundation. The evening was a smashing success, playing host to over 2,000 attendees and to such local celebrities as: Miami Mayor Manny Diaz, Geraldine Bazan, Catherine Siachoque, Felipe Veil, among others willing to open both their hearts and wallets for the youth of South Florida.
