(Holland, MI – July 5, 2007) – Crayon Interface, Inc. a leader in mobile applications and service has partnered with Hawking Technologies to provide cellular connectivity to Hawking’s recently released HomeRemote™ system. The system features Z-wave technology, and enables users to control and monitor devices throughout the home, including lighting systems, security, appliances, heating, and more. HomeRemote also connects to video cameras, allowing users to monitor secure, real-time video anytime, anywhere via PC or cell phone.
Crayon’s Moshi® mobile platform, (which connects devices in homes, vehicles and businesses to cell phones and other mobile devices) enables homeowners to access their HomeRemote systems via an intuitive user interface on their cell phones. The interface software is called “Cell Link” and can be downloaded to most cell phones when setting up the HomeRemote system.
“We are excited to partner with Hawking Technologies to deliver Cell Link to HomeRemote users,” stated Kevin Virta, Crayon Interface’s VP of Business Development. “Hawking is a leading provider of networked equipment for homes and small businesses. The integration with Crayon’s Moshi mobile platform now expands that network to include cellular, providing HomeRemote users with access from anywhere in the world!”
