Seattle Innovative Design Launches La Escuelita Bilingual School Website
Seattle, WA, July 1, 2007 - Seattle Innovative Design ( www.seattleinnovativedesign.com ), a design communications group, launched a newly designed web site for La Escuelita Bilingual School. The site can be found at http://www.laescuelitaseattle.com .
“The client asked for the creation of a site that would highlight the way La Escuelita provides a dual language early childhood learning environment. When presented with the initial design concept the client was delighted.” claims Lowell Henderson, owner and founder of Seattle Innovative Design. “I know the client is eager to incorporate this new website into current promotional efforts and is looking forward to expanding the customer base.”
La Escuelita Bilingual School was established in Seattle in 1980. La Escuelita has two locations at this time. La Escuelita in the north end is located in the University District. It incorporates a birth to five year old early childhood program.
La Escuelita at Praxis was established in 2006 in the south end of Seattle. It is located in the Columbia City area and incorporates a toddler and pre-school program. La Escuelita at Praxis is a Step Ahead Pre-School Program funded through the City of Seattle’s Early Learning Program.
La Escuelita’s goal is to promote the development of each child’s appreciation of themselves as individuals competent in all the learning domains (physical, cognitive, social, emotional, and creative). La Escuelita’s teachers assist children to recognize the many ways children are the same and different from each other.
La Escuelita incorporates the child’s interest, cultural context and events that make up their lives in their daily activities in order to foster children’s learning and critical thinking.
La Escuelita assists children to develop the skills and attitudes needed to become successful in school. La Escuelita promotes the development of English and Spanish using a Dual Language Model and validates and assists children to develop respect and appreciation for all the languages and cultures represented in their programs.
