The Oarsman by Connie Watts
Flint River Gallery is pleased to announce the addition of artist Connie Watts into their online gallery. Ms. Watts was recently selected by the Alabama Bureau of Tourism and Travel as a participating artist in conjunction with the “2007 Year of Alabama Arts” program.
Her traditional oil paintings include landscape and figurative paintings in oil. She is currently researching the sport of sculling for her newest series of paintings due out later this year titled Fluid Motion. A preview of this series can be found at FlintRiverGallery.com.
Watts received her undergraduate and graduate degree from the University of Montevallo in central Alabama. Mrs. Watts currently resides in Childersburg, Alabama with her husband.
