Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science To Be Featured in a Story
on The Profiles Series
Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science announced today that the institution is to be profiled in a story about Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) and Education on the Profiles hosted by Lou Gossett Jr. The story will focus on Drew’s mission of serving the under served and the advancement of diverse education. The University strives to improve the health status of under served communities through innovative biomedical research, and progressive health policies. By maintaining and expanding relationships with local medical schools, research institutions and community-based organizations, Drew is focused on eliminating the health disparities by providing access to and delivery of healthcare services to underserved populations.
