(Washington, DC) - Ms.Angeline Bandon – Bibum will appear at Verses, Vibes, and Bites hosted by J.Joy Alford literally known as Sistah Joy with musical accompaniment by Doc Powell of the Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers on July 19, 2007 at Barnes & Noble Books – Downtown, 555 12th St., NW, (corner of 12 th & E, 1 block from Metro Center) in Washington, DC at 7:00pm.She will be reciting some of her work from her first novel, Sojourner’s Dream, during the open mic segment of the event.
Ms. Angeline Bandon-Bibum is a graduate of Howard University who lives and works in Montgomery County, Maryland. She is a poet and author of Sojourner's Dream. Ms. Bandon-Bibum recently appeared at Karibu Books and 2007 Afrocentric Book Expo. She also recently appeared on the air waves of Harambee Radio Network. Ms. Bandon-Bibum is a wife and mother of three children.
