Traditionally Italians prefer to shop offline and this is borne out by the number of stores that accept the Clubbucks card which may be used on or offline. At present there are over 120 online shops in the Clubshop mall and a further 100 offline merchant stores. It is noticeable that some of the offline stores include restaurants, discothèques, cafes and Ski Instruction, so that Clubbucks card holders visiting Italy will be able to still collect rewards whilst on holidays.
One other particular store to note is Speza Online which is a Spar grocery store where customers can order goods online and have them delivered in the region around Milano, Bergamo, Varese and Como. So it seems that online shopping Italy is catching up fast with the USA.
