Exiting a Limo
Slide to the very edge of your seat nearest the door
Lower your head
Swing your legs out (keeping them together as best as you can) to the outside of the car.
Use your arms to lift yourself out.
If you have someone standing there to help you, step up lightly and take his or her hand.
Smile. That’s even if no one is taking your picture.
Entering a Limo
Back into the car. Never go in head first unless you believe your backside is your best side.
Use your arms to steady you as your rear hits the seat, then swing in your legs, pressed together.
Lena also writes that “low necklines and high hemlines can get you into trouble.” Add to that, going without underwear.
You don’t have to be a star to shine, even if you don’t have paparazzi breathing up your skirt. Lena was born in a tiny African village in Malawi, Africa, where there weren’t many cars so she’s self-taught in the ways of negotiating a car gracefully.
