A Scot aims to reclaim an heirloom chain cheated away. The obstacle-the cheater’s gutsy daughter.

Jeweled Seduction-Calum MacAlister wants to try one last thing to redeem himself in his dying father's eyes--get back the heirloom necklace cheated away from the family thirty years ago. He hadn't counted upon gorgeous Val Mac Iver's

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)Jun 22, 2007 – The legend of an amber-encrusted gold chain assures good fortune to the family possessing it. Calum MacAllister plans to get back the heirloom that his dying father was cheated of thirty years ago. But Robert MacAllister also wants to meet with the cheater's daughter, adding more risk to Calum's task.

Valerie MacIver becomes the focal point of his plan...kidnap her and use her as ransom to get the jewelry, then abscond with them both back to his father in Scotland. Calum's plan goes awry when he discovers she is not the immature tomboy her snapshots imply. Skeptical, distrustful, cautious to a fault, Val's instinctive wariness becomes his major obstacle.

Val is able to attend the California wedding of her best friend, only because of the last minute sale of her photograph layouts. Upon arrival at the ceremony, Calum MacAllister, a substitute usher, calls her by name. A question plagues her throughout the ceremony: how could this stranger recognize her, considering her metamorphosis over the past two years? Even her bodyguard-companion can't explain, nor is he interested. Butch already checked MacAllister out and found nothing at odds. Besides, he's become a good friend of Val's father.

Worlds collide as Calum and Val struggle to deal with the indignities keeping them ignorant of each other’s insecurities. Calum’s butler Max, together with Calum’s mother, Elizabeth, interweave a rich blend of personalities pivotal to the climax of the story.
