Smart IP 3.2 Features
Improved Security through FIPS 140-2 Validated Encryption
The encryption of over-the-air session data between Smart IP 3.2 mobile clients and the Smart IP server has been enhanced to include the latest technology from Certicom Corporation, validated by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to be compliant to the FIPS 140-2 specification. Smart IP 3.2 offers wireless-optimized AES encryption based on this FIPS 140-2 validated technology.

Enhanced Windows Mobile 5.0 Device Support
Smart IP 3.2 features enhanced support for Windows Mobile 5.0 devices, including improved performance and network roaming support and Microsoft Mobile2Market code signing.

New Performance Monitoring Tools
Smart IP 3.2 provides new performance monitoring tools that allow for better capacity planning and faster resolution of system problems. Server-side statistics can be collected, analyzed and audited for application level tracking, trouble-shooting or reconciliation with network usage data.

Improved Scalability through Multiple DMZ Gateway Support
The Smart IP server now supports communication with multiple DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) gateways to improve redundancy and load-balancing capabilities.

Enhanced Support for LDAP Authentication
Smart IP 3.2’s enhanced LDAP authentication support allows the use of standard Windows authentication, providing users with easier configuration and reuse of existing authentication.
