According to Jarl Jensen, president of EuroMed, the size of this new facility will not only increase our production capability, but it will also enable EuroMed to enhance our ability to better serve our clients on a global level. This new facility also provides EuroMed with the space needed to interact with our customers more proactively, whether it is to discuss new product ideas, conduct educational programs or work on opportunities to improve customer service. Jensen expects this to “strengthen EuroMed’s customer relationships and add value to every customer transaction.”
This will be the company’s first major move since entering the US marketplace in 1996, and is expected to be completed by mid summer. It is anticipated that EuroMed’s R&D and manufacturing divisions will grow substantially, and that EuroMed’s current 94-person staff also will grow as EuroMed broadens its market and expands it core competencies to other technologies.
EuroMed was recently designated as a participant in the New York State Empire Zone project, which was created to stimulate economic growth through a variety of state tax incentives designed to attract new businesses to New York State. “We are so pleased with our new location and the space it will provide,” explains Jensen, “and equally happy to contribute to stimulating economic growth in New York by expanding our business and creating new jobs.”
