Netanya, Israel. June 17, 2007- Telkoor Telecom has announced that it has received an order for miniaturized power supplies from a European client, through its British subsidiary Digital Power Ltd., totaling approximately NIS 4 million.
The power supplies ordered are intended for products serving computerized lighting systems, installed at banquet halls and very large concert events. The client’s lighting systems were used at the last Olympic Games in Athens and will be used again in China at the coming Olympics. The products ordered continue previous similar orders and will be provided in a number of installments, concluding by the first quarter of 2008.
This order is the second announced by Telkoor, closely following a NIS 2.7 million order received by its subsidiary in Israel from a client in the military field for the development and manufacture of a power system intended for an airborne project. The order received specifies that the system will be developed next year while production will begin in 2009.
