June 15, 2007 - PRLog -- Understanding Dog Body Language For A Well Behaved Dog (http://dogbodylanguage.blogspot.com), is an informational website featuring information on dog human communication.  It describes the meaning of various dog actions and poses and the human equivalents, liberally illustrated with photos and videos.  It also links to the best resources on dog body language and calming signals.  Although the site officially launches on June 16th, it already contains several useful articles and videos with more to come on a regular basis.

Dog body language is useful for anyone who comes in contact with dogs.  If you are a dog owner, communicating with your dog in its own language builds your bond and makes training, daily life, and emergencies much less stressful for both of you.  Dog body language can be used at the dog park to watch for and avoid potential problems.  It can be used to make sure a strange dog knows you aren't a threat.  You can even use dog body language to help your dog walk politely on a leash.  http://dogbodylanguage.blogspot.com makes learning and using dog body language easy and fun.

Understanding Dog Body Language For A Well Behaved Dog  -  http://dogbodylanguage.blogspot.com - is written by Julie Baumler, an avid student of dog training and behavior.  Julie is a member and leadership training participant of Dog Scouts of America and has studied with several dog trainers including Lonnie Olsen, founder of Dog Scouts and past president of the National Association of Dog Obedience Instructors.  She is also the owner/trainer of her service dog partner Pico, one of of the dogs who graciously models for the site.
