Father’s Day: Gordon Brown is the worst dressed celebrity dad

British PM to be Gordon Brown has come bottom of a survey to find the UK’s best dressed celebrity dad. The survey was done by the UK’s leading online retailer http://www.TieWarehouse.co.uk

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)Jun 14, 2007 – Gordon Brown will have little to celebrate this Father’s Day. He’s come bottom in a poll to find the UK’s best dressed celebrity dad.

Our PM in waiting scored a miserable 0.3% of votes cast, in the Fathers Day poll run by the UK’s leading online tie retailer http://www.TieWarehouse.co.uk.

Tony Blair comfortably beat Gordon, landing in 5th place.

David Beckham won the title for the second year running, after getting nearly 39% of votes cast

Tie Warehouse’s Gary Baker said Gordon may need to address this image problem if he is going to win the hearts of voters.

He said: “Whatever you think of his politics, it’s clear the public don't consider him a snappy dresser!

“Although he didn’t win our poll, we’re going to send him some of our most stylish ties and accessories so he can spice up his image. He’s going to be the PM, so we may as well help him try to look the part.”

The full results are:

•   David Beckham  38.8%
•   Stephen Gerrard  32.6%
•   GMTV’s Ben Shephard   6.2%
•   Jude Law     6.2%
•   Tony Blair     4.2%
•   Clive Owen     3.7%
•   Gordon Ramsey  2.8%
•   Peter Andre     2.5%
•   Jonathan Ross  2.5%
•   Gordon Brown  0.3%

Gary added: ““We’ll see how well Gordon has changed his image in next year’s poll. Hopefully he will have managed to drag himself off the bottom slot!”
