PRLog (Press Release) - Jun 12, 2007 -
It's a new day for Gero Vita, JOL Management, and the Journal of Longevity.

What do you do when it all falls apart? Whether you’re healing from a badly ended relationship or forging a new career path, starting over is hard. But it can also provide a breath of fresh air and a brand-new perspective.

After extensive negotiations with the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the death of company founder Glen Braswell, Gero Vita™, JOL Management, and the Journal of Longevity are poised to rise like a phoenix.

“We still have the same great, effective formulas that have brought our customers health and happiness for years, and now we have new leadership as well,” says Jim Chiang, Vice President of Operations. “We’re dusting ourselves off, looking at our strengths, and preparing to launch in a whole new direction.”

Getting to this point hasn’t been easy. Braswell founded the company in 1989. He brought together some of the greatest minds in the world of nutraceuticals to create cutting-edge formulas that were way ahead of their time. But Braswell was a salesman, and his exuberance for the products sometimes got the best of him. In 2005, the FTC negotiated an agreement that allowed Gero Vita™ to continue selling its products with a closer eye on scientific substantiation, and Mr. Braswell decided to sell the company.

Since then, much of the negative information about Gero Vita™, JOL Management, and the Journal of Longevity has been tied to Braswell’s over-exuberance. “We are thankful that Glen Braswell had the vision to create this company,” says Chiang. “The best way we can honor that vision is to build upon the foundation of the company by educating consumers and providing top-quality dietary supplements.

“We’re getting back to fundamentals. It’s all about doing what we do best: providing great health enhancement resources with Gero Vita™, providing superior customer service with JOL Management, and keeping people informed and educated with the Journal of Longevity. We continue to innovate and look for new nutrients that show promise in the lab, we are formulating new products using the best of cutting-edge science and traditional approaches, and we have a team of people who are ready to take us to the next step. We’re all pretty excited about what we see on the horizon.”

Look for good things to come from Gero Vita™, JOL Management, and the Journal of Longevity. “In the old days, this company made its reputation based on quality products that work,” says Chiang, “and some things shouldn’t change. Keep your eye on us—I promise you’ll be impressed.”
