Susan Maxwell and Gabe Sanders have teamed up with Access Sports America to initiate the first special needs sailing program at the United States Olympic Sailing Center in Jensen Beach, Florida.
First a summer program for special needs students of the Martin County area, and later a continuing full year program to give children the opportunity to lear sailing and windsurfing in a safe controlled environment on the beautiful Indian River Lagoon of Jensen Beach.
The sailing program will be coordinated by Glen Kerpchar and head instructor Sara Demko.
