FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) – AMFIL Technologies' is now delivering its second generation mPact-CSF (gaseous ozone Cold Storage Fumigation) systems for use in standard and controlled atmosphere fruit & vegetable cold storage facilities. The systems now integrate optional remote monitoring capability that provides real-time room monitoring, alarms either in email, text or phone, and historical database graphing of ozone system performance during product storage. The web-based monitoring system allows intuitive configuration of alarms for multiple employees via secure, Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens. Now, facility managers, supervisors, or IT teams can remotely monitor and retrieve historic room data plus configure alarm notifications from any Internet connection.

Several central California valley cold storage companies have ordered the mPact-CSF systems in order to provide historical data logging and system performance monitoring for ozone within their cold storage rooms. Proven safe and effective for fungi/mold antimicrobial and fruit ethylene removal, the ozone-based mPact–CSF systems allows operators to maintain day and nighttime ozone levels and provide notification if levels are either too low or high. In addition, any system malfunction (ozone cells, sensors, etc.) will be recorded in the customer database and aid in troubleshooting.

AMFIL has conducted extensive customer interviews and heard the need from customers for additional monitoring and recording ozone levels as a way to protect, verify efficacy, and increase the storage life of fruits and vegetables in cold storage. AMFIL’s Vice President, Matthew Lowe, recently stated that “our customers can now objectively analyze their historical data and determine optimal ozone levels and durations for a wide variety of commodities. The current subjectivity of what ozone levels to run for a particular crop in a room can now be statistically based and optimally adjusted.” In addition he also stated that, “Companies now have another value added system to offer their customers that monitors & maintains optimal ozone levels for microbial and ethylene control in cold storage rooms. Our new mPact-CSF systems with the remote monitoring option now provide the historical data to back up the customer’s product quality and efficacy claims. That's important.”
