Jun 05, 2007 – Rice Technology Solutions, a leader in IT services and solutions market announced today that it had completed the first phase of a computer rollout for the Ford Motor Company. This phase of rollout consisted of the deployment and decommissioning of 600 pcs. The rollout was completed at the Ford manufacturing plant in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ford Motor is an American multinational corporation and the world's third largest automaker after Toyota and General Motors, based on worldwide vehicle sales.
John J. Rice, Rice Technology Solutions President, commented, “We are pleased and honored to be working with the Ford Motor Company on this project. This is a major milestone in the expansion of Rice Technology Solutions. Ford Motor had a wide field to choose from for this rollout, and believe me when I say many companies were vying for the position but when they(Ford) did the research several things put RTS above our competition, those being our national reach, our ability to handle a project of this size, and like Ford we have a commitment to excellence, like the Ford slogan, "Quality is our job 1". The remainder of the rollout will take place at all major Ford plants and dealerships in the United States during the next few months.
