ESys Appoints European Regional Director

PRLog (Press Release) – Jun 04, 2007 – eSys Technologies, one of the global leaders in technology distribution business and a fast growing PC manufacturer, has today announced the appointment of Harprit Singh who joins as European Regional Director.

Supporting the company's bid to attain an EMEA turnover of USD 1 billion, Harprit brings a wealth of industry experience covering sales and purchasing leadership, and new business development.

Harprit's focus among other things will be to drive eSys into new markets. His area of responsibility covers Central and Eastern Europe, the Nordic countries, as well as Italy, Austria and Greece.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of eSys appointing Nigel Edwards as Vice President of EMEA.

Alongside growing eSys' geographic footprint in Europe, Harprit is also actively pursuing an expanded vendor portfolio that would allow the company to better cater to customer demands. Harprit aims to implement an integrated approach to vendor management, allowing manufacturers to deal with one distribution partner covering a large geographic area.

Key to eSys' future success is the ability to maintain a lean business model, whilst simultaneously providing high levels of service to a varied client base in Europe.

Harprit has nine years experience in the IT components industry, and joins eSys from Krystaltech Lynx where he was managing the USD 500 million dollar distribution unit of the company.
