Los Angeles, California, CA June 02 2007 - When it comes to battles there are no wars that compare to the battle between the sexes. More conflicts in relationships are between partners then any nation can dream of. At least, that is what Emilio Kuriyakin, author of "The Little Book of Hot Sex For Cool People: I Want Sex But My Partner Doesn't" thinks.
"It doesn't matter the person's gender - people argue and fight and more times than not it is over how one deals with intimacy. Long after the honeymoon is over - and sometimes shortly after - partners get into a rut, grow apart or just have different levels of desire. Things like this lead to World War III, IV and V in the home and often lead to break-ups or at the very least misunderstandings and ill-feelings."
Kuriyakin states that the important thing is communication and failing that, be prepared to face the fact that you may have grown apart or your partner may have grown apart from you!
"That is something nobody likes to face and it takes supreme effort from the individual to be able to come to the conclusion and admit that things aren't going back to the way that you wanted it."
Kuriyakin deals directly with the issues in his short book (50+ pages in English and 50+ in Spanish). Some people are exhaused from working two jobs. Some need to get their mother-in-law out of the house or get rid of the kids. Wthout extra padding, the author deals with some of the issues and possible solutions as well as reminders of things you may have forgotten! The book is written in both English and Spanish since studies have indicated that the Latino community have questions that they need answered as well.
The book doesn't cover anything new - it just reminds people in relationships of where they are at, what they might want to reconsider and how to try and deal with their partner.
"Being intimate is a very emotional issue and it is important that both parties respect each other or try and work out their needs. If they cannot do it, they have to look at the relationship and see if they should continue to be together based on other factors but work out some sort of compromise."
The book is published by Sensual Hills and Valleys and available from Amazon US, Amazon UK, Barnes and Noble and other Amazon sites as well as bookstores throughout the world.
