Fun Educational Games for Kids

In my physics and math classes, I remember quite a few students who couldn’t concentrate in class because they were tired from having stayed up too late playing video games. Now I am not saying that video games are all bad. The discerning parent can choose amongst many creative and educational video games for their children, but no matter how good the game is, time spent playing video games should be limited. Video game playing misses out on the social interaction and emotional intelligence that is developed with face to face game playing. One of our focuses is finding games that work well with different ages. Some of our games achieve this by having different levels of questions; others work by having the older one have a small handicap; many of our strategy and word games exercise basic mental skills which are not age-specific.
