Flint River Gallery
The Flint River Gallery continues to find new artists from South Georgia and present their paintings to the global marketplace using the Internet. With this commitment we are excited to introduce our newest artist, Ellis Morgan.
His narrative oil paintings are packed with vivid color and modern European style. Growing up between Georgia and Germany, Mr. Morgan spent his teenage years in Cordele. This unique international mix is reflected in his work. He light heartedly adds Georgia icons such as Coca-Cola bottles into his classic European flavored art.
“As I grew older and traveled to Europe, I was struck by the art culture and history which surrounded me. I was influenced by the Old Masters. I have no formal training in art. I always tell people it is a God given talent. I paint what I see. I paint things that happen or have happened throughout history” states Morgan.
He now lives and works in Albany, Georgia with his wife and children. Flint River Gallery is excited to have Mr. Morgan in the gallery and invites you to visit their website to view his paintings.
