New Delhi,May 30, 2007, Pankaj Arora has joined the New Delhi office of Protiviti, a leading independent provider of internal audit and risk consulting services, as a director in the company’s business risk practice. He will be responsible for strengthening the risk consulting practice with specific focus on outsourcing and cost reduction initiatives. His role also envisages further expansion of the transaction support and due diligence practice of Protiviti.
Pankaj joins Protiviti from Ameriprise Financial, spun off from American Express, where most recently he served as a director with the Strategic Transformation Group. At Ameriprise, he was working on various management consulting initiatives with a specific focus on cost reduction and outsourcing projects in their US office and was also a part of the leadership team which set up its Indian operations. Prior to Ameriprise/American Express, Pankaj was previously with Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young, where he provided risk consulting, transaction support and assurance services in India and United Kingdom.
Pankaj has a bachelor of commerce from Shri Ram College of Commerce at the University of Delhi and is an Associate Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
