"The perpetrator of the Penguin Dance", as described by Kathy O'Connell of WXPN's Kids Corner, entertained families at PhillyFit Bash on Sunday May 20th. Miss Amy has dedicated herself to a number of causes including fundraising for March of Dimes and United Way, and singing bedside at Children’s Hospital through the "Musicians On Call" program. At this event Miss Amy energized kids and parents alike with, as she puts it, “Music That Won’t Let You Sit Still!”
Being a certified fitness instructor for many years, along with being a family entertainer with three GRAMMY® submitted CDs, Miss Amy has captivated audiences with her original songs that include movements from actual health & fitness disciplines. Participants at Miss Amy’s concerts get a workout even knowing it! At a recent Radio Disney hosted appearance at a World Cafe Live, Miss Amy & Her Big Kids Band performed tunes that had kids and parents “rocking & rolling”. Included was a special appearance by Sissy, the Ewing robot who danced along with the music at this renowned Philadelphia venue. Miss Amy has also been an active community member in New Jersey fostering a robotics education curriculum in her local school district.
With her hit broadband TV show at http://www.NeoDance.tv Miss Amy brings her magic and fun to children online too, inviting everyone to sing and dance along in an exciting family adventure. Other Miss Amy videos can be found on YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/
