Up And Coming Teen Star William Erickson Books Pbs Tv Show And Subway Commercial

Boston, MA (May 25, 2007)— After productively starring in commercials, independent films and theatre, William Erickson (AKA Willie) is set to star in the hit PBS KIDS GO! TV series FETCH! with Ruff Ruffman. The kids’ show is set to air starting May 28, 2007, with a new cast, new challenges, and a new animated feline character. On May 24, 2007, Erickson will also be shooting a national commercial for Subway restaurants.

“Participating in the kid’s TV show FETCH! was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I truly believe that all of us learned that teamwork and learning can be really fun!” says Willie. “I can’t wait to see what happens next for me in my career. The Subway commercial is going to be really fun, too!" Watch William Erickson’s premiere in 20 new half-hour episodes of Fetch! beginning Memorial Day 2007.

In addition to his new television and commercial ventures, Erickson’s most recent film includes a short by director Nathan Ehrlich entitled, “Entropy.” Erickson was cast as the lead, young Daniel. The film is a comedy short that follows young Daniel after the death of his mother as he is pushed together with his quirky father and left to fend for himself.  William’s list of other independent films include “Courage”, directed by Santa Sierra, “Bus Stop”, directed by Pamela Preston, “Magic Rock” by Brad Gallo, “Click” directed by Scotty Dugan and “The Playground” directed by Peter Pizzi. “I love film,” Erickson says, “It gives me a chance to express a different character, and sometimes create a character the director hasn’t even thought of.”

As of recent, he is represented by Jacque Pedersen of Maier Management in California.  “We are looking forward to guiding Willie’s career to a new level,” says Pedersen. Since signing with Maier, Erickson was recognized for his vocal ability and musical talents. He will be joining a small cast of boys to sing and record songs with musician and songwriter, Paul Edward Yalen. Additionally, he is currently modeling for the McKevin Company which features his photos on unique company merchandise.
