Newscabby launches newscabby.com - RSS and Atom News Reader

Newscabby is an web based RSS and Atom News Reader developed using the latest advancements in technology. It is a classic example of a website, which can be termed as a product of the web 2.0 era.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - May 24, 2007 -
Newscabby, an RSS and Atom News Reader, was initially launched in March 2007. The initial version of the website had only the facility to read the feeds which were added by the administrator of Newscabby.  Then on receiving feedback from various users of our website, it was decided that the website would have to be modified in order to provide the facility for the users to sign up and subscribe to the feeds of their choice.  This version of the website also provided us a kind of platform on which the technology with which the future version (i.e. the current one) was to be developed could be tested.
Once it was certain that the development of the newer version of the website could proceed without any kind of hiccups, the development process began around the end of April.  After continuously working for two weeks, the newer version of Newscabby was launched on May 15 2007.
This version has all the facilities that one might expect from a website of the 2.0 era.  It can parse all the kinds of feeds, provide users the facility to sign up and subscribe to their feeds, take part in the passenger for the week contest, use Newscabby's logo on their site for allowing their users to read the feeds on Newscabby among many others.
This development started around the end of april is only a small step in our aim of making Newscabby one of the top readers of feeds.
