"StickyTEE" - WorldsGreatestGolfTee.com "Impact is Everything" Say Hello to Your Little Friends

Worlds only big impact golf tee anchors the golf ball to the golf tee for a bigger impact. Test results show a lower launch angle and straighter longer drives.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PR Log (Press Release)May 24, 2007 – The "StickyTEE" was designed to "Anchor your ball for a BIGGER IMPACT" for a more consistent, straighter, longer drive and to build confidence in the game of golf.  Scientifically proven at Zelocity, impact creates an extra 2 carry yards average (5 - 7 yards total) when tested against a wood tee. Because the golf ball is anchored to the tee, the club head is in contact with ball longer during impact. Golf ball does not roll off tee but is sheared off form one point at a higher psi. This impact creates a lower launch angle, with less over all ball spin for more carry yards and a bigger bounce in the fairway with 40% less severe offline yards (during test) for more total driving yardage. With this golf tee a slower more controlled swing (for the heaviest hitters) will raise your power transfer ratio for a bigger impact. Players who have lost swing speed, women players and younger players can increase drive yardage and all players will benefit from the over 40% less offline yards achieve during test.

The "StickyTEE" was tested by four golfers (handicaps 18, 12, 7, 0 ) and scientifically proven at Zelocity.com with "Purelaunch" technology. Shots were grouped in three categories against a "wooden tee". Club speed, ball speed and launch angle were compared and testers found, over 40% less offline yards and an average of 2 extra carry yards that equaled an additional total distance of 5 to 7 extra yards average. Great results for wood tee and test results for the "StickyTEE" can be seen at http://worldsgreatestgolftee.com/testresults.aspx.  Using the "StickyTEE" also creates a lower launch angle for playing in high winded conditions and a bigger bounce in the fairway.  Some players have achieved plus 15 yards extra the their drives.

The "StickyTEE" has a special tack with a tabbed paper cover used to keep tack clean.  Replace paper tab after each tee off, or stick tee to the next clean ball for next drive to reuse tee. To stick tee to ball, twist back and forth with pressure to securely stick and expel air or water.  A more firmly attached ball, planted straight into ground, results in the biggest impact for the straightest and longest drives. Tack can be scratched and cleaned with another tee from center out to remove foreign material until tee is useless. Oil from fingers degrades tack. Check tackiness with a clean ball.  No residue is left on ball once it leaves tee, unless attached for many days.  All parts are biodegradable, but please do not litter.

Ken Starr, owner of Zelocity called the "StickyTEE" a "pretty cool product". Being that the pros cannot use them. At present, the USGA committee for these two reasons has arbitrarily rejected the “StickyTEE”. (1) It reduces ball spin and (2) it can align a target when inserted in ground at an angle and the ball does not fall off tee.  We do not recommend planting a "StickyTEE" in ground at any angle. Many of the top tees reduce ball spin and some tell how to align a target, yet these have been approved for professional play by the USGA. It seems that if it's against the rules to influence the golf ball then these tees must not work. You can see the USGA rejection letters for the tee on the  http://www.ezitsale.com/rejected.htm site.

The "StickyTEE" would make a great gift or a greater stocking stuffer for those golfers who need to get home quicker. Check out the site at http://www.WorldsGreatestGolfTEE.com for all the information or contact TEE@StickyTEE.com.
