Nano Silver Makes Existing Hand Sanitizers Obsolete

Virginia Firm Files for Novel Silver/Bio-film Patent

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release)May 23, 2007 – Richmond, Virginia May 22, 2007

Antheros, a manufacturer of specialty personal care products, has developed, and filed for a patent, a new hand sanitizer that is based upon natural renewable resources.  Silver is combined with a natural chelant and bonded into a bio-film that is derived from bio-resources.  The resulting product then has a bio-adhesive action when applied to the skin.  An invisible bio-barrier is created that eliminates all bacteria upon initial application and is active for hours afterward.
The nano silver hand bio-barrier makes obsolete the current hand sanitizers offered which are only effective with each application and have no residual effect.  The silver bio-barrier has been successfully tested by several independent laboratories and found to be highly effective against e-coli, salmonella and the deadly MRSA, (multi-resistant staph).   Various trial studies are in process using the nano silver bio-film with excellent results to be released soon.
