“The diversity of our audience is proof that business leaders across industries recognize the value of a strong ergonomics program, and the need to plan for the aging workforce.” commented Walter Charnizon, President of Continental Exhibitions, Inc., owners/producers of the EEC.

The EEC features 40 educational sessions for those in office, industrial and healthcare environments. A special focus track, Ergonomics & The Aging Workforce, will address topics ranging from how workers’ comp claims are affected by aging workers, to how employers are gaining a competitive advantage by accommodating an older workforce. With the number of older workers expected to increase by over 10 million in five years, industry trailblazers including Owens Corning, Pitney Bowes and Home Depot are already seeing positive results from their efforts to maximize the aging workforce. Bruce Donatuti, Executive Director, Workplace Relations and Practices / Chief Human Resources Officer, Pitney Bowes Office Systems will share their positive results during the Keynote scheduled for May 30 at 11 AM.  Home Depot’s Marlon Sullivan, Senior Staffing Director will deliver the May 31 Keynote at 11 AM.  Sponsor Product Demonstrations will immediately follow the Keynotes each day with AliMed, Humanscale, Power Pusher and others displaying ergonomic solutions for all types of workplaces.
