"Advances in Human Cryopreservation" First Cryonics Conference in South Florida.

A never-before-seen research project, focusing on perfecting human cryopreservation, including restoration of health and life of cryopreserved patients, and furthermore, suspended human animation.

PRLog (Press Release)May 15, 2007 – Ft. Lauderdale, FL – Major scientific breakthroughs will be revealed on May 18 -20 by world-class scientists speaking at a unique conference at the Sheraton Ft. Lauderdale Airport Hotel, followed by demonstrations of advanced cryopreservation equipment at Suspended Animation, Inc in Boynton Beach, FL.

This event will feature the first details about a revolutionary research project to achieve perfected human cryopreservation. In the short-term, this research will lead to advanced methods of cryopreserving terminal patients for future revival in good health and vigor.  In the long-term, it will lead to human suspended animation.

The conference begins Friday evening with an informal welcome reception at the Suspended Animation hospitality suite at the conference hotel. On Saturday, there will be scientific presentations and panel discussions.

The conference banquet on Saturday night will feature internationally acclaimed cryobiologist Gregory M Fahy, PhD, who will announce a major grant to fund research
to perfect whole body vitrification, which is a method of cooling organs, tissues, and entire organisms to super-low temperations without damaging ice formation.

On Sunday, tours of the new Suspended Animation research facility will be conducted. These tours will include demonstrations of advanced new equipment for stabilizing, cooling, and transporting cryonics patients.  A color brochure on the conference can be found at www.suspendedinc.com

The registration fee for the conference is $175.00 per person. This includes entry to the welcome reception, the program, the banquet, a tour of the Suspended Animation facility, and a buffet lunch at the facility.
