Participation in the workshop is free but by invitation only to Europe’s key players in this field and to those who have a genuine interest in the application of technology to human capital development and technical training in order to meet business objectives.
The workshop will mix ‘state of the present’ presentations from leading corporate and multinational organisations and ‘scenes from the future’ scenarios presented by leading EU R&D projects in the fields of mobile learning, wearable training and performance support. This will be followed by a set of ten thematic ‘roundtables’
Giunti Labs’ International Marketing Manager, Minna Leikas commented: “The workshop will outline trends and present case studies from large industrial and commercial organisations which are deploying innovative corporate education and industrial training solutions worldwide to cope with their rapid up-skilling, just-in-time training, talent management and performance support needs in day-to-day field operations and actions. We expect these presentations to foster discussion on new learning technologies and how they can be used to achieve effective training and learner support.”
“New economies engender new challenges. New challenges generate new training needs,” explained Fabrizio Cardinali, Giunti Labs’ CEO. “Industry workforces today need new learning paradigms, technologies and standards to help them develop their skills and competencies more effectively and efficiently and support their jobs at the pace made necessary by today’s global challenges.
“Accelerating the adoption of innovative training methodologies, technologies and standards is becoming a ‘must’ for those international organisations needing to compete and survive in today’s knowledge society, while tackling the market forces that are underpinning today’s global economies,” he added. “Technologies such as e-learning, mobile learning, wearable training, role play simulations and performance support systems can improve such action.”
Participation is by invitation only, based on seat availability and allocated on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. If you are interested in attending the event, please contact Minna Leikas, at Giunti Labs: on +39 0185 42123 or email m.leikas@giuntilabs.com.
