iFindadate (dot) com is the latest service to be launched in the UK by iFinda, which last month launched iFindabusiness, iFindawedding and iFindanumber.
iFinda are the consumer facing brands of IMT Group Holdings plc. IMT was founded in 2005 and re-branded in Quarter 1 of 2007 to more accurately reflect the business of the group. IMT has interests in Advertising, Directories, Media, Mobile, Publishing and Telecoms and plans a float on AIM during 2009.
The IMT Board has recently hired some top business talent, including Chairman, Richard Allan, the former CEO of Perry Group plc, Hugh Craen, founder of Potential Finance Group plc, and Peter Hill as Group FD. Peter Hill previously held the FD role at Dorma Door controls plc and also an FD role at a Media business, Headquartered in London backed by VC money and the founder of Scott (dot) com.
Speaking about the launch of dating services for the group, Daniel Corby said "The Board is very excited about the opportunity that iFindadate presents to the group. Our interests in dating have always been clear from the start, the launch in the next 14 days will lift the perception of UK dating and the internet. We are very confident that we can generate strong revenues from dating"
