Prudential Georgia Realty adds 120 Realtors in 45 days and sets company record

PRLog (Press Release) – May 07, 2007 – From March 15 through April 30, 2007, Atlanta-based Prudential Georgia Realty had one of its busiest hiring periods in its 43-year history. And according to company president and CEO Dan Forsman, the pace is showing no signs of slowing in May. On May 2nd, Prudential Georgia Realty officially acquired Century 21 Hand Real Estate in Newnan, thus adding 31 additional experienced real estate professionals to its sales team.

In a 45-day period ending April 30th, 120 Realtors joined Prudential Georgia Realty, increasing their agent team by nearly 10 percent in that brief time to 1,546 sales associates. In all, the 11th largest Prudential Real Estate affiliate in the U.S. has added 261 Realtors since the start of 2007 to its metro Atlanta agent roster. This recent hiring frenzy lends further credence to the fact that Prudential Georgia Realty was named a Best Place to Work in Georgia this year by Georgia Trend. It was the only nationally franchised real estate organization to make the list.

“While other companies are consolidating or closing branches, we believe metro Atlantans deserve the convenience and experience of using a hometown Realtor,” said Dan Forsman, whose company has opened new offices in Johns Creek, the Cobb County side of Roswell and in Newnan since the beginning of 2007. The company now has 25 branches in 14 metro Atlanta and North Georgia counties.

The hirings in the last 45 days include 28 Realtors in its new Cobb/Roswell office; 15 in Henry County; 11 at its Towne Lake branch; eight in Gainesville; seven in its Cherokee (Canton) office; six each in Sandy Springs and Northwest (West Cobb); five each in Johns Creek and its New Homes Division; four each in its Midtown and Lilburn offices; three each in Douglasville, 85 North (Hoschton), South Gwinnett (Snellville) and Peachtree City; two each in East Cobb, Perimeter North (Dunwoody) and North Fulton (Alpharetta) branches; and one each in Dahlonega, Fayetteville and Dawsonville.
