CHICAGO, IL – The figurative paintings and drawings of John W. Carlson will be exhibited at the Chicago Art Matrix Gallery in the Zhou B Art Center this May. Opening Friday, May 18th from 7-10.
Located in the city’s Bridgeport area at 1029 W. 35th St. on the south side of Chicago, the Zhou B Art Center is an impressive, 87,000 sq. ft. showplace for international contemporary artists. The center features open galleries and studios at the popular “Third Fridays at the Center” as well as providing live music and offering menu items at it’s new Zhou B Café.
A native of Ashtabula, OH., John W. Carlson currently resides in Bay Village, OH where he has a studio. His work can be viewed at http://www.carlsonstudio.net
John W. Carlson’s work has been featured in numerous group and solo shows and has been acquired for the permanent collection of the Erie Art Museum.
