Children as young as eight years old can look after contact lenses easily and without complications, according to recent studies.
This is largely a result of new technologies which make it easier than ever before to look after lenses. Daily disposables for example, can be thrown away at the end of every day which means that the wearer doesn’t have to worry about cleaning them with solution and storing them properly overnight.

Many children also like them because they think that glasses make them look geeky (which is possibly ironic given how many adults wear them to make a fashion statement!)
