The benefit weekend ran from April 20th – 22nd at Dallas Market Hall, and was kicked off as the red carpet was rolled out for the Invisible Children Friday Night Party. Director Laren Poole hosted the evening and provided a special screening of the film, Invisible Children. Following the film, The David Ramirez Band, Josh Jenkins of Green River Ordinance, and Radiant took the stage. Other acts that preformed this weekend in support of Invisible Children included Burlap to Cashmere, Andy Davis, Phil Keaggy, and Jars of Clay. In appreciation for their support, performers and guests were given gift bags that included the first faith-inspired energy drink manufactured and distributed by 1in3Trinity.
From suburban living rooms to Capitol Hill, with coverage on The Oprah Winfrey Show, CNN, the National Geographic Channel, and more – this film has been referred to as heartbreaking , but informative.
