MS Consultancy Management: BITS Pilani & CDC Delhi Joint Initiative

PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 20, 2007 – Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) is an autonomous institution promoted by  the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) of Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. The main charter of CDC is the development and promotion of Consultancy services, for domestic and export markets and to promote cooperation with other countries in the area of Consultancy. It has linkages with industry, Consultancy organizations, Govt. departments/agencies, R&D and academic institutions and other concerned organizations. It has also been identified as the nodal agency in the Asia Pacific region for the Technical Consultancy Development Programme for Asia and the Pacific (TCDPAP) by the Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) – a UN organization.

BITS Pilani in collaboration with CDC Delhi has been offering for the past over a decade M.S. Consultancy Management a higher degree programme, with three semesters of course work and one semester of Dissertation. This programme aims at enhancing the Consultancy Management skills of professionals working in consulting and business organizations. Programme features include regular contact sessions conducted every Saturday and Sunday at the CDC premises at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. While employed professionals located in and around Delhi, having an Integrated First Degree of BITS or its equivalent like B.E., M.Sc. etc are eligible to apply for this programme, candidates with M.B.A., M.Com., A.C.A., A.C.S. etc. who also apply will be considered on a case by case basis. Candidates sponsored by their employing organizations will be given preference. Final selection will be based on the performance in a Test and Interview to be conducted at CDC, New Delhi at 9.00 A.M. on Sunday, May 20, 2007.
