RALEIGH, NC April 17, 2007 --- A Los-Angeles based television production team, April Six Films, arrives in Raleigh, NC on Thursday April 19 to begin filming the pilot for the reality show "Social Disorder", based on the daily, and nightly, lifestyle surrounding regional fashion and entertainment publication Social The Magazine and it's editor in chief, Chris London.
The cameras are set to roll as soon as the plane lands at RDU airport, capturing anything and everything that will underscore the "Social" style and attitude of the city. Mixed in with the location shots will be unscripted footage documenting the unique life and times of the Social staff, it's editor, and area "Social-ites"
"We're very excited about getting started. The producers approached us several months ago about doing this," says Social Magazine's Chris London, "and we're confident it has all the ingredients to be a huge success."
To kick it all off, the production crew will be on hand to film at two upcoming Social sponsored events. The first on Thursday, April 19 at the award-winning Ess Lounge & Nightclub in downtown Raleigh where London himself hosts the successful weekly Rock N Roll Ladies Night party. "I'd like to personally invite everyone in Raleigh to come out to these events and be a part of the show" says London. The film crew will also be on hand the following night, Friday April 20, at Oliver Twist lounge in North Raleigh, for the kickoff party and signup event for a nationally sponsored model search hosted by Social The Magazine and Sobe Adrenaline Rush energy drink.
Once the pilot episode is shot, producers will present the "Social Disorder" reality show to several different networks such as VH1 to pick up as a regular television series as early as the 2007 fall season.
"This show will shine the national spotlight not only on Social The Magazine, but on the city of Raleigh and it's thriving fashion, entertainment and nightlife scene" says London, "which can only mean great things for everyone involved."
