FURLOUGHED FLIGHT ATTENDANTS BROADEN EFFORTS TO “EXTEND RECALL RIGHTS” AT AMERICAN AIRLINES

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI - Former (TWA) and American Airlines Flight Attendants will be at Lambert Field in St. Louis on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, 8:00am – 7pm., visible to the traveling public seeking public support urging American Airlines to do the American thing and extend their recall rights.

Unspoken victims of the 9/11 attacks caught between massive management bonuses at American Airlines - while - the Union (APFA) is posturing for upcoming contract negotiations, many furloughed employees are losing their jobs due to their five year recall rights expiring.

These dedicated employees, many with 20 to 30 years at TWA/American, refuse to let posturing and politics, let this issue pass.  With political support on the rise, the former TWA attendants want the issue of “EXTENSION OF RECALL RIGHTS” addressed for those that were laid off due to aftermath of 9/11.
