Safety traffic cones no longer just for DOT and big energy

Connecticut safety wear and equipment company brings Traffic Safety products into the small business and mid market.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr 12, 2007 -
Norwalk CT, April, 13, 2007 - SafetywearOnline (a quantum safety company) today announced the inclusion of traffic cones to their line of safety products.
Independent contractors and outdoor workers alike can now use these devices to alert drivers and riders alike of work area
precaution. "Prior to this, most applications have been limited to either the D.O.T (Department of Transportation) or the utility
companies. However, independent contractors working in neighborhoods or small businesses can also utilize these devices
while delivering their services" says Alani Kuye, V.P. of the Norwalk Connecticut based company. "We can customize in two
predominant colors, green and red with reflective stripes, this adds to the quality of delivery" added Lucinda Testo, company president.
Lanscapers, private contractors and small businesses alike can further ensure safety awareness and compliance by using these units
on their daily business routes. This ensures neighborhood safety across various domains. Children, drivers, bystanders, runners and
more importantly everyone in general. It's the equivalent of cautionary warning signs.
"However, due to the large quantity assumtion for procurement, the mid market had relied on existing signage prior to now"
continued Lucinda Testo. "We are delivering enterprise class safety solution to the mid market and the smaller players...thats our value add".

The company also engages a used equipment disposal service and will provide a statement / Certificate of environmentally friendly disposition
to customers. "This puts you in the good green books with uncle sam" added Alani Kuye, company Vice President. "It's also a great marketing
tool for our customers to their end customers."
Safetywearonline.com launched earlier this year to engage the benefits of the internet and increase market reach. "it has been very
successful in providing feedback and what products to add" added Lucinda.
With OSHA and a compliance driven business environment on both small and mid to large businesses alike, workplace safety has gone beyond
simply protecting workers. Most companies procure newer equipment but have no concrete processes in place for the proper disposal of their
old, used equipment. This leads to degradation of which the longer the equipment sits unattended to, to more non - biodegradable it becomes.

"We see prizms established by OSHA based on industry statistics and reported occurences," continued Alani. "Everyday a material sits or is sued,
there are chemical reactions that occur. Whenever materials come in contact, oxygen, carbon monoxide, water, sweat, heat... though miniscule,
they change the composition of the equipment. Which in turn becomes hazzardous material in it's own form. our Green Initiative focuses on going
beyond replacing these old units but also absorbing and properly disposing the units. Recycling also plays an important role here."
