High performance is combined with a wide ambient temperature range of minus 20 degrees C to plus 70 degrees C (dependant upon lamp type) making the VL64 ideally suited to a comprehensive range of applications. The Equal Plus has been developed for hazardous area installation in both offshore and onshore environments. It provides illumination for obstructions, jetties, tank farms or as security and perimeter lighting. Equally, the flood can be used in any harsh industrial environment.
Certified for use in Zone 1 areas and ATEX Category 2 compliant, the VL64 Ex d (flameproof)
Manufactured from corrosion resistant aluminum alloy (LM6), the floodlight has a pre-drilled stirrup bracket complete with aiming quadrant for easy installation. A separate Ex ‘e’ increased safety terminal chamber, removing the need for technical glanding, reduces installation costs. Simple maintenance is also assured as re-lamping is achieved via the easy access hinged front cover fitted with captive cover screws.
“The advanced design of the VL64 Equal Plus has created a high performance floodlight that is ideal for a full range of applications and that is also highly competitive both in terms of installation and maintenance,”
