About the Soul Food Advisor
Born and raised in West Tennessee, Cassandra Harrell is an avid soul food lover and began tempting palates with her southern influence when she owned an award winning soul food restaurant and catering business. She taught cooking classes on preparing African-American cuisine and served thousands during conventions, annual festivals, trade shows, and sporting events.
During her years in catering and food services, she received rave reviews, numerous features in
newspapers, and interviews on television segments. Cassandra is most known for her award-winning old-fashioned peach cobbler and her witty personality.
