RFID – A Technology with Ceaseless Potential

We started five RFID projects in the government area this year and there are more to come next year", said Jimmy Li, who is the deputy director for Govt. RFID Applications’ Initiative Office at Economic Affairs’ Ministry of Taiwan and senior advisor for Taiwan’s Information Industry Institute.

RFID has a competitive advantage in various ways and in a number of locations that go much beyond baggage’s tagging. The biggest rollout is National ID card system in China, however UK has planned even a larger budget of US$ 15 Billion for its National ID card scheme.
